Messages From DDGM/GSO/AGLS

From RW Jon Server, Grand Steward

Brethren, as was annouced at the New London DD, I have been given a green light to go home. Provided i continue my PT as an Out Patient and PT/OT here at the MCC agree I am strong enough. i will meet with the MCC Director of Therapy, IP Doctor and Social Worker on Friday morning. It is thought I will home early next week. Nothing is set in stone. I will be here over the weekend. I ask for your continued prayers, good thoughts and understanding as I get ready to start the next road in my journey to recovery. My Doctor has NOT released me for getting out of my house except for therapy for at least another 4 weeks. Lodge meeting and events, only when PT has agreed. My road is still long and my cable tow still extremely short.

From RW Carl Klossner, DDGM of Oneida District

Brethren, I am happy to hear that our Grand Steward, R.W. Jon Server will be returning home at the start of next week, the week of 11/14/16. Lets give him some time to get settled and use to the new routine of being home before we start calling and visiting him. In my conversation with him today he asked for a little time to rest up at home and begin regaining his strength. I know that you all join with me in congratulating him in completing his In-patient therapy so quickly! On to the next step!

From Brother Dan Williams, Amicable Lodge #664

I am working on putting together an OC Masons Pool League this winter sometime and just want to feel out the group and see if anyone would be interested besides myself. I have a few brothers that want to participate already but will need more teams to make it worth while. I also wouldnt mind some insight on how to create a bracket and set up the league if any of you have any experience doing this as this will be my first time. This is a great way for us to interact with our brethren across the district and have some fun and fellowship. Please contact me on Facebook , answer on this post or call me at 315-723-8798 if this sounds like something you may be interested in . we need to have more fun events in the district and definitely more fellowship!! I hope you all agree.
